DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA
Welcome to Tanzania Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by your private safari representative, you will be transferred in comfort to the Hotel in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania's famous Northern Safari Circuit. Arusha is one of Tanzania's most important safari gateways. Situated beneath Mount Meru and within reach of Kilimanjaro and the country's major northern national parks, it is the natural starting point for a luxury safari. The city provides a pleasant transition between international travel and the African wilderness. Depending on your arrival time, there may be an opportunity to enjoy the hotel's facilities or explore a little of Arusha. DAY 2- ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, meet your private safari guide and begin your journey from Arusha it is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours by road from Arusha under normal conditions to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is particularly famous for its large elephant populations, magnificent baobab trees and the Tarangire River, which becomes an important source of water for wildlife during dry periods. Your guide will select the best areas according to the season, animal movements and road conditions. Wildlife commonly encountered includes elephants, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, eland, lion and, with luck, leopard. Tarangire is also an excellent birding destination, with more than 550 recorded bird species. Enjoy a beautifully prepared picnic lunch in a designated area, surrounded by the natural scenery of Tarangire. After lunch, continue with your afternoon game drive. DAY 3 - TARANGIRE TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before departing Tarangire with the morning game drive while leaving Tarangire. The journey takes you through the changing landscapes of northern Tanzania towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of Tanzania's most extraordinary landscape, its centerpiece is the Ngorongoro Crater, a vast volcanic caldera approximately 20 km across, around 600 meters deep, the surrounding conservation area is also culturally important and is home to Maasai communities, creating a distinctive combination of wildlife conservation, landscape and traditional pastoral life. There will be opportunities for photographs and refreshments along the way, arrive at Melia Ngorongoro and check in enjoy a relaxed dinner and prepare for an early start the following morning. DAY 4 – NGORONGORO CRATER TO CENTRAL SERENGETI
Enjoy an early breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is a remarkable natural wildlife sanctuary, Inside the crater you may encounter various herbivorous and predators also there is also a possibility of seeing the endangered black rhinoceros, although wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed. Enjoy a private picnic lunch at a designated location inside the conservation area, your guide will choose an appropriate location while ensuring that park and wildlife regulations are followed. After the crater experience, ascend from the crater and continue towards the Serengeti National Park, the landscape gradually opens into the famous endless plains of the Serengeti where you will be enjoying on way game drive. The Serengeti is one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife ecosystems and is internationally associated with the annual wildebeest migration. During evening time arrive at the luxurious Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti, located in Central Serengeti. Accommodation: Four Seasons Safari Lodge – Central Serengeti Meals: Full board
DAY 5 – CENTRAL SERENGETI TO MTO WA MBU
Wake early for your final major Serengeti game drive, The morning is an excellent opportunity to search for predators and plains wildlife before the heat of the day, your guide will determine the best route according to current wildlife activity.
Optional Luxury Experience – Hot-Air Balloon
For an additional special experience, consider a Serengeti hot-air balloon safari. The experience normally begins before sunrise and provides aerial views of the Serengeti plains, followed by a bush breakfast. The route provides a final opportunity to enjoy the Serengeti landscape before transitioning back towards the Ngorongoro highlands and the Manyara region. Check in at Manyara's Secret, a private luxury property in the Mto wa Mbu area, this is deliberately a slower afternoon after several active safari days. DAY 6 – MTO WA MBU - ARUSHA - KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at Manyara's Secret, drive back towards Arusha, enjoying the final views of the northern Tanzanian landscape.
